Jayanta Bhagawati hails from the rich cultural island of Assam, Majuli (Kamalabari). He grew amidst the holistic ambience of the pure Sattriya culture and with the passage of time, tried to promote his innate urge of knowing culture and tradition at its best. He learned and discovered new flavours of Kathak dance, experimented his creativity with innovative compositions like KAZIRANGA, BIHU BAREBORONIYA, OM, SHIVA MAHIMA, etc.Jayanta is also passionate in playing percussion instruments and have displayed this inner talents in many international shows.
